    Is Glen Beck the Antichrist?

    Is Glen Beck the Antichrist?

    Published August 28, 2010 by: J.A. McLynne

Glen Beck took center stage at the Restoring Honor Rally at the nation's Capitol. For three days, the Internet oozed out story after story about Glen Beck's ideas, political leanings, whether he is a Nazi, or not a
Nazi. It seems like everyone with something to say was making their opinions know on Glen Beck through forums, Internet chat rooms, and article comments.

Glen Beck Takes Control of the Media - for one day
Searches for information about Glen Beck and his rally went through the roof at Google, and stayed there for several days. His image was not only pasted on Fox News, but also on CNN. CNN also ran live feed of his rally on their Internet sites, somewhat of a surprise, since they are a direct competitor to Fox News. One image showed Glen Beck with his arms raised high in triumph as he stood before the throngs of people. Winning over souls of the faithful perhaps?

The Bible says the the Antichrist will be a great deceiver. The Antichrist will make great promises of restoration but will fail to provide the redemption of sin, leaving Man eternally separated from God. The Antichrist may even quote the Bible while trying to win souls for his cause.

The Antichrist will even start to follow through on some of his promise making great strides for humanity, improving living conditions, helping man overcome his failings. The Anti-Christ will burst onto the scene, seemingly from out of nowhere, and he will take control. The spirit of Satan will then be indwelt into the body of the Antichrist and he will use supernatural powers to control Man and lead the population into eternal damnation.

Throughout history there have been many interpretations on who the Antichrist is, how he (or she?) will appear and what methods will be undertaken to undermine the work of God.

A popular contemporary interpretation of the Bible shows that the Anti-Christ will be a master of the media. These interpretations have bled through the Left Behind series of books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins.

In their interpretation of the Bible, the Antichrist will be able to influence the largest media outlets to carry his message, in print, television, radio, on the Internet, as well as in person. Even competing news outlets will carry the same message, gushing over every word that users forth out of his mouth. According to LaHaye and Jenkins, the majority of viewers and listeners will soak up his message like a sponge and strive to make others believers.

Then, according to LaHaye and Jenkins, the Antichrist will make a leap into politics.

So ask yourself, is Glen Beck the Anti-Christ?

Interesting. According to this writer's description, the Bible seems to be describing Barack Hussein Obama, aka Barry Soetoro.

That question is just plain funny. It's going to give a lot of people a good laugh...
