Remittances to Mexico Fall 12 Percent
MEXICO CITY – Emigrants’ remittances to Mexico fell 11.88 percent in January compared with the same month in 2008, the country’s central bank said on Tuesday.

Right, miguelina! But the money does not necessarily go to the the government or pass through their radar. Like the cartels are going to fill out the miscellaneous income form.
