Most Americans still do not understand just how bad the economic horror we are facing really is. That's the result of free trade treason. One day good decent people who think mistakenly that "free trade" has something to do with liberty will realize that it isn't free at all, because it bankrupts your nation, and the greatest threat to anyone's liberty is the poverty free trade has caused.

Free trade has cost us far more than $100 billion. It's costs us $800 billion a year in trade deficits, our money and wealth that goes out of the country never to return.

Protectionism is common sense, not a dirty word as some would claim. It means protecting the economy you and your ancestors built, that you and they risked your money and hours and life to create, that feeds your family, provides a nest egg for your grand-kids and builds an even better future for the next generation.

We have to protect our trade. Protecitonism built the greatest economic superpower the world has ever known, and in less than a decade free trade has destroyed it, bankrupted our nation, and impoverished our people.

Gosh Judy, I agree with you. Many people mistakenly relate protectionism to isolationism. Yes, they do intersect to a small degree but protecting ones economy and livelihood can hardly be construed as a negative! It is abundantly clear where "free trade" has taken us...down the road to ruin. It's the globalist, OBL junkies that need to be removed from the political landscape! Kick them all out! Expose them for what they are!

Anyone remember that little man with the big ears back in the 90's who said if NAFTA was implemented we'd hear this giant sucking noise as our jobs dissappeared? He was diseregarded as basically a crack pot (and so was I for voting for him) and was eventually threatened out of the race to drop out.

Unfortunately Perot was right, and we are reaping Clinton's "rewards."
