Schools and businesses reinstate MASK MANDATES as CDC, mainstream media push fictional claim that COVID-19 cases are once again on the rise

Schools and companies all over the country are voluntarily reinstituting mask mandates due to the alleged surge in Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in certain areas of the United States.
According to data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and parroted by American mainstream media outlets, COVID-19 hospitalizations have risen by nearly 16 percent on the week ending Sept. 9. CDC Director Mandy Cohen even claimed that up to 10,000 people a week were being hospitalized due to COVID-19. She then claimed that this is still far fewer than the 40,000 people being hospitalized each week in the U.S. in August last year.
"We're in a much different place in August of 2023," said Cohen, who said the immunity of Americans was much stronger due to vaccines. She also thanked the availability of "at-home tests, effective treatments and common-sense strategies like washing your hands and staying away from people when you're sick."
The government and media narrative claims the surge in new cases and hospitalizations comes from new COVID-19 variants.
While the government itself has not called for a return to mask mandates nationwide, many schools and businesses across the U.S. are leading the way now by instituting them voluntarily despite evidence proving that masking has no significant benefit to avoiding COVID-19 infections.
"The CDC's own data reveals that those who wear masks get infected with COVID at the same rate as those who don't," noted the Americas Frontline Doctors, a pro-health freedom organization.

"Eighty-five percent of those infected with COVID wore masks some or all of the time before their infection. The countless jurisdictions that mandated masks actually saw an increase in infections during the mandate," continued the organization. "A key randomized, controlled study of mass masking during the COVID outbreak, concluded that wearing a mask had no significant effect on viral spreading."
Schools, companies ignoring science and bringing back mask mandates

In Alabama, Kinterbish Junior High School in Sumter County announced the return of mask mandates in late August for students, staff and visitors due to the alleged rise in COVID-19 cases.
In Maryland, Rosemary Hills Elementary School in Silver Spring called for a temporary mask mandate lasting for 10 days after three people at the school tested positive for COVID-19. Principal Rebecca Irwin Kennedy further announced that the school would be providing rapid test kits and that students who show symptoms of COVID-19 should remain at home.
"It always starts the same way – as a temporary mandate," said Kyle Wilkens, a parent in Silver Spring. "'Fifteen days to [slow the spread.' I can't go through this again. My child is not wearing a mask to school." Wilkens added that the mandate, set to expire by Sept. 15, will likely be extended.
"The media is already doing its part to fearmonger," he said. "Now, they are trying to soften us up with scattered mask guidance and requirements here and there. We know from before it will escalate."
In Georgia, Morris Brown College, a historically Black liberal arts college in Atlanta, reinstituted its mask mandate for two weeks, claiming that COVID-19 cases among students were rising and COVID-19-related hospitalizations in the state are up 30 percent.
The new restrictions require all students and staff to wear masks, and restrictions were imposed on event sizes, including parties. Contact tracing efforts were also resumed.
In California, movie studio Lionsgate and healthcare company Kaiser Permanente have both reintroduced mask mandates.
Lionsgate claimed a number of its employees had tested positive for COVID-19 and that this required the return of forced masking as well as other safety measures, including daily COVID-19 screening.
Kaiser Permanente's mask mandate is localized to its hospital in Santa Rosa in the San Francisco North Bay as well as nearby medical offices, supposedly "in response to this latest increases in COVID-19 cases." The mandate applies to physicians, staff, patients, health insurance holders and visitors.
Other schools and companies, including healthcare facilities, are reinstituting mask mandates all over the country.
