    Schwarzenegger holds lead

    A recent Field Poll shows Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger (R-CA) holding a solid lead over his gubernatorial rival Phil Angelides(D), 45-37% with the incumbent's job approval rating higher than his disapproval mark 49-40%.

    I've noticed a steady increase in Phil Angelides mud slinging ads. I'm sure the ads will pick up for both sides as we get closer to the Nov. elections. Get in, sit down, and hold tight. We're in for a long bumpy ride.
