FBI Investigates Berwyn Bank Robbery

BERWYN (STNG) -- FBI agents are on the scene investigating a bank robbery in west suburban Berwyn on Tuesday afternoon.
A Hispanic man entered the Harris Bank branch at 6811 Stanley Ave. in Berwyn about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and demanded money while implying he had a weapon, according to FBI spokeswoman Cynthia Yates.

No weapon was displayed.

The robber, described as 20-25, 5-foot-3 with medium build, escaped on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

No one was injured.

Agents remain on the scene as of 1:30 p.m., Yates said.
