Sex Slavery OK in Islam, Says Female Kuwaiti Politician

Another reason not to let Sharia law creep into our society. These followers have no problem with sex slavery and even endorse it's practice in Islam and a solution for prisoners of war. The human rights groups should be having a field day.

Sex slaves are OK in Islam, according to a former candidate for the Kuwaiti parliament, who is advocating for the legalization of sex slavery.

SHE-- that's right, folks-- is the hot topic on the Gulfi presses.

In a video posted on YouTube earlier this year [see below], Salwa Al-Mutairi proclaimed that a sex slave trade would prevent Kuwait's Muslim men from extramarital sexual activity, explaining that a purchase transaction for a sex partner would be tantamount to marriage.

"We want our youth to be protected from adultery," she said.

Mutairi claimed that on a recent trip to Mecca, she spoke with several muftis, or Muslim religious scholars, who believe that there is a basis for the purchase of concubines in the shariah, or Islamic holy law.

She gave the example of Haroun al-Rashid, the third caliph or head of state of the Islamic Abbasid Empire, is rumored to have had some 2,000 concubines.

Appropriate candidates for the sex trade would be Muslim women from war-torn countries like Chechnya, Mutairi suggested.

    Mutairi is married.

    What Does God Say About Polygamy?July 8, 2011 |

Every once in a while, our evening news onslaught of Middle East clashes and political wrangling is interrupted by a strangely disconcerting tale of a polygamist running the lives of dozens of wives and children. Recently it was Warren Jeffs, who held almost 150 women and children in a Texas ranch in polygamous relationships. But polygamy can’t be shoved off into the religious offshoots of Mormonism in the West anymore. Islam, the fastest growing religion on the planet, promotes polygamy. Authorities are concerned that instead of decreasing, polygamous marriages are on the rise. Some people use biblical examples to justify the practice. Is this a problem? Is the government right to ban polygamy? Is it really that harmful? Did God’s leaders really have plural wives in the Old Testament?

Shockingly, the answer to all of these questions is yes! Some of the greatest known men in the Bible had multiple wives. Abraham and David both had multiple wives. Does that mean God condones polygamy? Absolutely not! God never once accepted and absolutely never commanded polygamy. In every case where polygamy was involved, men were punished for their disobedience to God’s marriage laws.
