Should the Internet no longer be anonymous?
The marketing director of Facebook says anonymity online "has to go away."
Randi Zuckerberg, who is the sister of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, says making people use their name will lead to a more civilized Internet, where things like cyber-bullying would be less common. Read more about this story .
What are the other ramifications of losing Internet anonymity? Do you think a plan like that could backfire?

Suggestion: You can no longer go the web anonymously
Danish police proposal: Ban anonymous Internet use
Justice will tighten monitoring the screw a few more thank you.
Thus, a working group at the Ministry of Justice started with a recommendation to parliament that would require all persons on the open Internet connections from such libraries and the café's wireless network, identify with a personal code for being able to get online.
The idea is that the police or the police intelligence service, with data from the open network connections will be able to investigate terrorism more effectively when the police can see who is logged on to the open network and not least, what sites network users have visited and whom they interacted with.
It writes Politiken.
Need CPR or SMS
How people should make themselves known to the as yet open, anonymous connections are still unclear.
Working with the Ministry of Justice mentions various possibilities such as Social Security numbers, electronic signature or SMS solutions.
The requirement will, however, according to Politiken be that a network user "will not have access to the Internet before the information about the person's identity is registered and verified."
Frames also companies
Also large and small businesses will be hit if the recommendation becomes a reality.
Because if a company can not demonstrate who logs on to the network, which is exactly the case with libraries and net cafes, so users must make themselves known with a personal code.
The purpose of the manifestation of the previously open network is similar to the already existing part of the logging notice that user data should be logged and stored for one year in telecommunications companies, so the police can access them in connection with terrorism.
According to Politiken writes the Working Group in its recommendation that the registration of users on the open network can be done without it will lead to "a real reduction in the general access to the Internet citizens for citizens and businesses".

Facebook's Randi Zuckerberg: Anonymity Online 'Has To Go Away'
First Posted: 7/27/11 12:23 PM ET Updated: 7/28/11 12:34 AM ET
Randi Zuckerberg, Facebook’s marketing director, has a fix for cyberbullying: stop people from doing anything online without their names attached.
Facebook requires all members to use their real names and email addresses when joining the social network -- a policy that has been difficult at times to enforce, as the prevalence of spam accounts or profiles assigned to people’s pets suggest.
Zuckerberg, who is Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg’s sister, argued that putting an end to anonymity online could help curb bullying and harassment on the web.
