Six men were killed in Juárez Friday night and early Saturday as part of the ongoing drug-related violence.
Police said the body of José Guadalupe Salvador Rangel Jasso, 41, was found in his home on Puerto Nápoles street in the Praderas del Sauzal neighborhood at about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Rangel had been shot multiple times.

Almost three hours later, Armando Hernández Pineda, 55, and Luis Ernesto Ortiz Chihuahua, 27, were found dead in a 2005 Chrysler Crossfire near Avenida Ejercito Nacional and Diego Alcalá streets in the Pradera Dorada neighborhood. Both had also been shot multiple times.

At 11:20 p.m. Friday, Carlos Alberto Carreón Salas, 17, was taken to Star Médica Hospital by family members after he was shot three times. Police said Carreón died soon after arriving at the hospital.

A 45-year-old man who was not identified Saturday was shot to death inside the Lexus bar at Avenida Ejercito Nacional and Rancho El Becerro streets at about 1 a.m. Saturday. The man was wearing blue jeans, a beige-checked short sleeve shirt and white tennis shoes, and had a tattoo that read "Paty" on his left leg.

Another man, Ricardo Zúñiga Gutiérrez, 22, was found dead at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday near Tehuacan and Toluca streets in the Industrial neighborhood. Zúñiga had been shot once in the throat, police said.

The deaths were part of growing violence in Juárez, where the death toll is creeping towards 600. The violence has been linked to a drug war between the Juárez and

Sinaloa cartels.
