    Sometimes Democracies Fall From Within

Sometimes democracies fall from within. Folks just fail to pay attention. Or, perhaps worse, they are enamored with a politician. This we must avoid. The follow provides a crass situation.

The situation is worse than your think. Scenario: A middle class family of German Jews sit down to have a little supper in early 1933. The 13 year old son asks his Papa if they are in peril, in reference to the extreme fascist political parties (amongst others) in Germany, in particular the NSDAP, led by a Mr. Hitler. The wise father puts his bright son at ease by noting that "Germany is a democratic nation, and such thugs as the Communists of the Nazis can never take over the government or the people." “We all vote!â€

I tend to agree with you. I am going to keep watching, though. There is time. McCain is off the screne form, none-the-less. What I have decided is that every candidate the Democrats have to offer are just plain out of the question!

I certainly have a great deal of skepticism of politicians anyway.

I finally dropped G.W. Bush during the first 'Shamnesty' episode. I became rather upset over that one.

Hi back at you, Redlander! I'm glad you liked that piece. The John Birch
Society does have excellent articles on their website, and they've been at the forefront, in the battle to preserve American sovereignty, from their founding.
