Obama supporters claim that the many years Obama spent in the Illinois
state legislature---I think it was about 8 or so years----was enough
experience for Obama to run for President of the United States.

Note: As we know, Obama has only been in the United States Senate
for about 2 years, I believe.

So, let me ask posters here these questions:

1. How many of us know
the name of our local state legislator?

2. How many of us took the time to vote in in state elections that included
only our state legislators? How many of us have seen our local state
legislator in person, face to face?

3. My point is this: Do many of us really care or pay much attention to his state legislator?

4. So, to me, for Obama to claim that his many years of experience in the Illinois state
legislature gives him the experience to run for President of United States
is unbelievable. mirse
