Thread: A STRANGE sight.

The family and I were on our way back from several days at Rocky Mnt. National Park, and stopped to gas up in Alliance Neb.
It was a small Cenex station and all the pumps were full, so I pulled behind this Chevy Pickup and waited my turn. And waited, And waited...
Finally after about 10 minutes another pump opened up so I took it. I filled up and went to pay and the pickup WAS STILL pumping!!!!
It had a washer & dryer in the box, and the man pumping would just stare at EVERYONE. I looked down at the liscense plate and it said "Nuevo Loredo Mexico"... IN NEBRASKA?????
I'm sorry, you do NOT see this, this far North. I am getting more UPSET every day.
We were in the Park to escape for awhile, stopped in the gift shop & all the Help was from a different Country too.
One would THINK with the unemployment the way it is, at least a NATIONAL PARK could hire Americans, wouldnt you?

What is with the STARING? Someone I know works at a local Wal Mart (hates the job too) I went in to visit and pick up a few things and one time a big fat guy who looked like a S. American futbol player (with a mullet all dippity dooed with goop in it) kept staring at me with a look that would have scared the crap out of a gorilla. When he caught my eye, I just kept staring him down until he stopped. I almost said something rude, but thought better of it since he was SO fat.

What's the draw?
Do you have animal slaughtering places they work?

PatriotofPast, I see Mexican plates here in Texas all the time. This guy sounds like he was showing suspicious behavior.

How was your trip to Rocky Mtn Natl Park? We spend time in Estes Park once every 1 or 2 years. Very beautiful.

Estes Park was crowded, otherwise the drive into the Rockies was wonderful. We were eating supper Sat. nite and a herd of Elk came walking thru the parking lot!!! About 30-40 of them... They just casually walked across the Highway and started grazing in someones yard.
Not a sight you see to often, lol.
