Taking back America without firing a Shot

This week, Republicans in Congress released their Pledge to America, a governing platform designed to give voters a better idea of what to expect from a Republican-led House of Representatives. To most Americans, the Pledge to America is filled with the kind of common-sense reforms that would make a difference in our government. However, the liberals in Congress seem to have a strong belief in the separation of common-sense and Washington, DC.

Unsurprisingly, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and the rest of the DC crowd has scorned the Pledge to America, even though they won’t point out any disagreements they have with it.

The reason the Pledge to America was created was to offer Americans a different option than the reckless ways of Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, are raising taxes, creating the highest deficits in history, and squandering America’s future and place in the world.

Boxer, Pelosi and Reid’s records are clear. They don’t support the Pledge’s basic tenants of:

Cutting government waste,

Ending the bailouts,

Repealing ObamaCare,

Creating jobs,

Cutting taxes for small businesses,

Stopping taxpayer funding for abortions, and

Keeping tax rates low for all Americans.

A vote for a progressive candidate can send our country into the abyss. It’s time to take back Washington, it’s time to clean out congress, it time to restore “government of the people, for the people by the people.â€
