A Tale of Two Quakes II

March 1, 2010 12:38 PM EST by John Stossel
A Tale of Two Quakes II

When I heard about the earthquake in Chile, I emailed my friend José Piñera, the man who enriched Chile by privatizing its Social Security system, to make sure he was safe. He replied that he and his family were safe. He added that we in America face a bigger quake: “America's $100 TRILLION true debt? THAT will be a quake one day. You owe $300,000 my friend. Very sorry.â€

Where are all the special visas for Chileans? The Temporary hold on deportations? When are they going to rush aid and load up all the babies for adoption in the US? Where's all the radical behavior and the Democrat over reaction?

Oh, this must mean that Chileans will not make very good ballot cattle in the US.

Obama said that we stand ready to help, but apparently Chile feels like it can handle the situation without us. And with their infrastructure, there are probably few folks here illegally from Chile. And I don't think Chileans sell their children like the Haitians do.
Chile is used to major earthquakes, and their building codes reflect it. Haiti apparently had a huge earthquake 200 years ago, and with the corruption of their governments and their people not being educated enough to learn history, the turmoil is obvious.

Like I said in another post, we need to send all our Latino illegal aliens to Chile, to help them rebuild since most of them have construction experience. Chile is the richest country in Latin America. Of course the Chileans will have to keep a strict eye on them to make sure they don't cut corners or do substandard work.

What are we gonna help with? Money from China? Even if we send relief efforts there, who's paying for it? We the People are strapped. That is the trouble with the utopia they are trying to instill. It works fine until you run out of other peoples' money.
