Thread: Taxes and Death

I just worked overtime for the first time in a long time. I waited til my paycheck came and compared my overtime pay with my taxes.

Overtime pay: $135.38
Taxes: $135.29

Net: $0.09


With this documentary on income taxes coming out, the very real possibility that I will never get to use my Social Security and the fact that my tax money is going to support illegal alien amnesty I am thinking hard about not paying any more.

I wonder if enough Americans said that what would happen, would they kick out the illegals in our prisons to accomodate the vile non tax paing fed up citizens of America?

That's sad dragon5. They are taxing everyone to death. I swear if they can't get it one way they find another. Get a break one way and someones right there to snatch it back in another. I'm with you though when it comes to paying taxes......my interest certainly isn't being represented. They aren't even spending it responsibly or being held into account for anything. It's like they got a bottomless charge card and just spend and spend and when they can't meet their budget they just raise your taxes. Wish we could do that.

I just went to that Fairtax site. I shouldn't be surprised.....in this state only Hasert is for it. There hasn't been 1 thing these yahoos ever vote for that helps the people.

Here in okla, we voted down a 5 cent tax on gasoline to repair bridges with a couple of years ago, so what did they do, they raised the toll roads by where I live from 50 cents for 20 miles to a whopping 1.75, yea they are going to get it one way or another that is for sure!
