Thread: Teen homeschooler jailed under Patriot Act

U.S. Attorney's office in Indiana issued an announcement, due to more news outlets picking up this story.

Google Ashton's name and see what turns up today. He had a secret identity as "Tyrone" and was apparently getting paid to phone in bomb threats to schools by kids who wanted to skip class. He's not being charged under the Patriot Act but under a federal statute prohibiting use of interstate commerce (phone lines) to threaten to kill people. Plus he's had something like 3 court appearances already. Momma didn't spill ALL the goods on her kid when WRAL interviewed her.

Where is the village on raising this child? As Clinton would say? I know the village is taking care of the illegals.
