May I ask: what the pudding does an economic spending bill have to do with religion? Wasn't there supposed to be some sort of separation between religion and government, according to our Constitution? We have freedom of religion and we have freedom to voice our opinion and vote, two totally separate subjects, threads or whatever you call them. While I may be a Republican or Democrat, I do not need to go to my church, where the pastor pounds in the Democrat or Republican view. It is Sunday, and I don't really any more politics.

Huckabee is not necessarily my favorite conservative candidate, but of the groups that I have been around which are on the liberal end of the spectrum it seems like they have formed a new religion. One of the tenets of the religions seems to be to exterminate evangelical Christianity. Perhaps it is a coincidence that many of them are also Roman Catholic, but I think they have a profoundly different view of things.

That was exactly my thought when I saw the headline. I don't agree with the bill, but I am not going around telling people that Jesus doesn't like it, therefore they shouldn't either. There are many reasons to be concerned about this bill, and religion certainly isn't one of them.

This coming from the same jerkoff that said that if we don't support illegal immigration then we are all racist. I really don't care what this POS has to say.

Hoping to see more comments on this thread. Want to know more about why folks feel Huckabee's wrong on this.
