    WASHINGTON (CNN) — The federal Food and Drug Administration says it’s going to test some foods from Mexico for salmonella before they enter the U.S. market as part of the agency’s investigation into the recent salmonella outbreak.

    Starting Monday, FDA inspectors will expand the salmonella probe beyond tomatoes to include cilantro, jalapeno and serrano peppers, scallions and onions. The samples will be taken to warehouses where they will be subjected to testing.

    Who cares if it has an impact on flow of goods from Mexico to here! THEY CAN KEEP THEIR TAINTED PRODUCTS. I'D RATHER THEY TAKE THEIR TIME TO TEST THAN LET IN CONTAMINATED FOOD!

    DO NOT BUY MEXICAN FOOD PRODUCTS. DONT BUY IT NO MATTER WHAT. IF WE WONT BUY IT THEY WONT BOTHER TO SEND IT. WE GOT THE POWER...USE IT.
