All I can say is WOW! The bubble has got to burst. I paid $3.45 a gallon this morning. Unemployment is at an all time high. This afternoon, after working/gym/ a well deserved nap I drove over to the local mall. The amount of people shopping in the food section of WalMart is constantly growing and perhaps is the money maker in the Turnersville store (Gloucester Co., NJ). Where else can you get Kraft Bleu Cheese Salad dressing for $1.58 or VegAll for $0.52!

I know that we give the ESL students dental care from the mobile dental unit @ Cleary along with a nurse practioner who administers shots, Rx when sick, etc. Someone has to pay for this --- guess who. Our Asian population (Indian & Oriental) is all living in one house but everyone works at least 1 job and they don't suck off the system.

Not every immigrant is a thief, illiterate, or out to suck the money out of the system. But it is hard to be objective when so many are. The fact that our great grandparents came through Ellis Island and went through a living hell to get here and these guys just pop in is unfair. (mod edit)

The minority communities of the turn of the 20th century spawned many undesirables but doctors and lawyers came out of it too. How many non-Oriental communities can boast the same?

Are we being redundant here?

They want us to live in little apartments in the city, so we won't have to drive our big cars back and forth to work.

Can I ask you a question though? I heard you guys don't have auto insurance for your basic citizens. Is that true? You have universal health care. Yet we know it sounded good in the beginning and has failed.

But seriously....and this could be rumor.....I heard that for BASIC insurance in England....it was absorbed with the gas....anything MORE and you buy additional insurance. How do they distribute this tax for you guys? Or was I lied to?

AirborneSapper7- Where I live its 3.70-3.75 a gallon! Its going to get worse I'm sure by July 4th like it always does.

I paid $3.57 yesterday in GA.

It's $3.89 here in Califexico...

Hey, maybe this summer the tourists won't come to LL Beans anymore and I can have my hometown of Freeport back!
