Aside from the medicinal use being outlawed...the tree huggers should be all over the law. Hemp can do everything that a tree can (except make lumber) and even more. Clothing made from Hemp is wonderful and long waring a cheap alternative to cotton.

Government intervention is simply to grow more government and down size the American economy. Read that Jeffersonian quote again....
