Thread: Female student kills 2 others, self at Louisiana college

(CNN) -- A female student shot two other women and herself Friday morning inside a classroom on the campus of Louisiana Technical College in Baton Rouge, authorities said.

Emergency personnel gather at a building at Louisiana Technical College, where three people died Friday.

Baton Rouge police Sgt. Don Kelly said officers responding to a 911 call found all three already dead in a second-floor classroom.

About 20 people were in the classroom at the time of the shooting, Kelly said. He would not give the room number or say what kind of class it was.

No shots were fired anywhere else, Kelly said.

Technicians from the local coroner's office were seen unloading stretchers from a van.

Mass killings seem to be the norm, rather than the exception. these days. And it seems like more and more people are just becoming desensitized to it all, especially our youth! I worry for our future, in more ways than one.

Shcoking and sad. Too bad students are not allowed to carry their own protection on campus with CCW's. Shooters will have a hard time shooting a lot of people if they are being shot back at.
