Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, Vice President Kamala Harris' pick as running mate for the 2024 presidential election, supports far-left legislation in his state – especially on LGBT and related issues, including one law that was seemingly supportive of pedophilia among people with certain "sexual orientation."
In May 2023, Walz signed the Judiciary and Public Safety bill, which included the Take Pride Act – a bill that amended the definition of "sexual orientation" in Minnesota. The original version stated that "sexual orientation does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult." But the revised law signed by Walz removed this language, allowing pedophilia to be classified as a sexual orientation.
This revised law, authored by state Rep. Leigh Finke (D-Saint Paul), the first openly transgender member of the Minnesota House of Representatives, defines "sexual orientation" as "to whom someone is, or is perceived as being, emotionally, physically, or sexually attracted to based on sex or gender identity. A person may be attracted to men, women, both, neither or to people who are genderqueer, androgynous, or have other gender identities." The Take Pride Act also introduced a definition of gender identity, describing it as "a person’s inherent sense of being a man, woman, both or neither" and clarified that this identity "may or may not correspond to their assigned sex at birth or to their primary or secondary sex characteristics" and is "not necessarily visible to others."
At that time, the Minnesota Department of Human Rights defended the changes. The department stated that the bill only removed the "outdated language that wrongly prejudices LGBTQIA+ community members by attempting to tie sexual orientation to criminal acts."
However, the revision still sparked a renewed controversy, wherein critics argue that this could potentially pave the way for pedophiles to receive employment protections.
Walz signed more pro-LGBT laws in Minnesota

Aside from signing the Judiciary and Public Safety Bill, Harris' running mate also passed an executive order in March 2023 that safeguards access to so-called "gender affirming" health care for residents of Minnesota and those traveling from other states.
"We want every Minnesotan to grow up feeling safe, valued, protected, celebrated and free to exist as their authentic versions of themselves," Walz said at the time. "Protecting and supporting access to gender-affirming health care is essential to being a welcoming and supportive state."
"I don't know what a group of people in Pierre who decide to make life miserable and more dangerous for people are thinking, but it’s not going to happen in Minnesota," Walz said to applause from a room full of LGBTQ activists and their supporters that time.
Moreover, the law allows courts to have "temporary emergency jurisdiction" during custody disputes crossing state lines if a child is unable to obtain the so-called gender-affirming care.
Walz also banned "conversion therapy," a term that can refer to therapies that align a child's gender identity with their biological sex.
All these controversial legislative records on LGBT and related issues have sparked a backlash among conservatives, even with former President Donald Trump. The Republican presidential nominee claimed that Walz is "very heavy into transgender" and that "anything transgender he thinks is great."

Before anyone outside of Minnesota knew who he even was, Gov. Tim Walz was ordering police officers to shoot local residents with paintballs for refusing to abide by his Black Lives Matter (BLM) demands.In the summer of 2020 after George Floyd died, Walz ordered locals to stay at home past 8 pm every night. The curfew was imposed, supposedly, to keep the streets of Minneapolis and surrounding areas safe amid rampant BLM rioting.
The problem is that Walz ordered police officers to stand down when facing actual rioters, and instead told them to persecute otherwise law-abiding citizens for refusing to stay holed up inside their homes after dark.

Tim's wife Gwen became intoxicated by smell of BLM burning down Minnesota

While rioters were robbing Target stores and burning down buildings with reckless abandon, Walz had police officers terrorizing entire neighborhoods for refusing to obey his fascist orders that they stay home in order to stay safe.
The Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic" was happening at the same time as well, which further fueled the fires of Walz's power trip as he terrorized the innocent and let criminals roam free to stand in "solidarity" with Floyd.
Walz's wife Gwen became so intoxicated with power and destruction herself that she infamously recalled purposely opening up the windows of their mansion "as long as [she] could" in order to enjoy the smell of the burning cities.
"I kept the windows open as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening," Gwen said.
Sen. J.D. Vance (R-Oh.), Donald Trump's running mate, is critical of Walz and Kamala Harris for their reactions to the riots of 2020.
"Tim Walz allowed rioters to burn down Minneapolis in the Summer of 2020, and then the few who got caught, Kamala Harris helped bail them out of jail," Vance said earlier this month.
Walz, by the way, believes that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) simply doing its job is a form of terrorism, this after he ordered law enforcement to shoot Minnesotans for defying his power trip.
"If only the DOJ enforced federal law against denying civil rights under color of law," someone wrote on X about the situation. "Biden needed to step up. Oh, wait."
"I didn't know this," wrote another about what Walz did to Minnesota citizens during the summer of terror in 2020. "It just makes me hate Walz even more. I also don't have many kind words for LEO right now for going along with this."
Others agreed that they despise "everything" that Walz stands for, especially what he did during the Floyd and COVID crises.
"If they are successful at cheating, he's going to be the vice president," another X user warned about Walz.
"They were also shooting pedestrians with less than lethal 40mm launchers," said another.
"The message in the airwaves is that he's a commie, and this adds to that 'vibration,'" said another in more colorful language.

An independent pension investigator has claimed that a Minnesota retirement system for public school teachers under Gov. Tim Walz is underreporting annual fees paid to Wall Street investment managers and posting implausible gains.
As governor, Walz oversees two pension funds for educators in Minnesota: The Teachers Retirement Association (TRA) and the Minnesota State Retirement System. The former provides retirement, disability and survivor benefits for 215,000 active ad retired educations. The latter, which Walz operates as its chairman, oversees $140 billion in funds for state employees, including $28.2 billion for teachers. However, the lobbying organization Minnesota Public Educators for Pension Reform has raised concerns about "inequities" and "significantly decreased benefits" for some members. The teachers' advocacy group accused the TRA of allegedly underreporting annual fees paid to Wall Street investment managers and posting near-impossible gains equivalent to a "Madoff miracle."
In turn, the group raised $78,373 on GoFundMe to hire Edward Siedle, a former attorney for the Securities and Exchange Commission and an independent pension investigator, to conduct a forensic audit of the TRA's finances.
According to Siedle's investigation, which involved filing public records requests with the TRA and the state for investment documents, the TRA has publicly disclosed less than 10 percent of an estimated $2.9 billion spent on fees over the past decade.
"A cursory look at the Minnesota Teachers Retirement Association leads to the conclusion they’re either a world-class pension or they're cooking the books," he said in July. "Minnesota reported investment fees on the $26.7 billion teacher pension fund of $24.1 million. The teachers' fund has a $6.6 billion private equity portfolio that would be expected to pay at least $132 million a year to fund managers.”
He also pointed out that the TRA reported gains that allegedly beat its custom benchmark over periods of one, five, ten, twenty and thirty years by exactly 0.2 percent is "virtually impossible."
Moreover, the TRA's financial statements for fiscal year 2023 revealed that the fund produced an 8.9 percent rate of return. The TRA reported $24.19 million in management fees for that year. But Siedle estimated that the actual amount paid to Wall Street fund managers ranged from $334 million to $467 million or five percent to seven percent of the TRA's private assets. Even if the fees were only one percent, they would total $280 million — more than ten times the disclosed fees.
In other words, Siedle's findings suggest that the fund might be concealing mismanagement and its ability to pay retirees their promised benefits. Siedle also noted that the Minnesota attorney general and state auditors, who typically investigate such irregularities, sit on the same state pension board that Walz chairs.
Minnesota officials want to discredit Siedle's investigation

In line with Siedle's investigation, the independent pension investigator also revealed in an article published on his Substack blogthat Minnesota officials were already working to discredit the investigation even before he started his audit in April.
In March, TRA Executive Director Jay Stoffel warned all TRA Board of Trustees and staff about the independent audit investigation in an email titled "An Important Matter." Stoffel also sent the same email to state legislators and officials, including the offices of Walz, the attorney general and the legislative auditor.
"I want to update you on the recent crowdsourcing effort of a group of teachers to raise $75,000 to pay Edward Siedle, a Florida lawyer, to do the following, according to the teacher group's GoFundMe page," Stoffel wrote in the email, along with the detailed problem, solution and goal of the reform program. "As trustees of the TRA Board, it is important for you to be aware of and concerned about risks to the agency and the fund, and this situation poses many serious risks. Specifically, TRA's reputation as a trusted government agency is going to be questioned."
Now that Democratic presidential candidate and Vice President Kamala Harris has chosen Walz to be her running mate, this underreporting issue is expected to face more intense and renewed scrutiny in the coming days.
