Obama's 'bull horn' moment
Actually, he had his chance long before the Tucson shootings.

Have you noticed that the Left has been overly desperate for the President to have his "Bull Horn" moment? It started in November 2010 when Mark Penn, while on Hardball, suggested that our Dis-connected President needed a tragic event (Oklahoma City) to reconnect with the People.
This same line was echoed Later on in December of 2010 by Time Magazines Mark Halperin. And now fast forward to the Tucson tragedy and Oklahoma comparison's continues...wanting that "Bull Horn" moment.
Paul Begala was giddy with the opportunity that Tuscon tragedy presented the President and then we have Howard Fineman advising the Pres on how to make it political without seeming like it.
What the Left all know and realize is, the President had his chance for that "Bull Horn" moment; that moment was in November 2009 and the tragic event was the Fort Hood Shooting. But alas, the President chose to blather on for 2 minutes with "shout outs, etc, etc before he casually mentioned the Fort Hood killings. And now they are openly asking for another tragic event so the Pres can recapture that "Bull Horn" moment he squandered in November 2009.
