Aid agency finds bodies of 60 migrants

SAN'A, Yemen (AP) — An international aid agency says its workers have found the bodies of 60 migrants on the shores of southern Yemen who died trying to smuggle themselves into the country from Africa.
Medecins Sans Frontieres says in a statement released Monday that its workers found the bodies from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2.

The aid agency says its workers spoke to migrants from two different groups who attempted to cross the Gulf of Aden to reach Yemen.

Smugglers forced one group into the sea while they were approaching the shore because they spotted some lights that made them suspicious.

The second group's boat capsized during the journey, killing at least 23 of the passengers, who were immediately buried by the others.
