    Toddler Run Over, Killed After Falling From Car

    ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. - A 3-year-old girl was killed on Clemson Boulevard late Thursday afternoon when she fell from a moving car and into the path of another vehicle. The Anderson County Coroner?s Office said that the child, Michelle Gonzalez, was not in a car seat and that the child safety locks in the car were not turned on.

    The girl?s mother was driving the car at the time and investigators said there were two other children in the car with her.

    Investigators said that the girl opened the door of the car and fell out as the car was turning into the Northlake Condominiums from Clemson Boulevard at about 3:45 p.m.

    I hope the mother was charged. That baby should have been in stapped into a car seat - it's the law!
