Trump Is Running Out Of Targets To Strike In Iran

Trump Is Running Out Of Targets To Strike In Iran

    By William Teach April 3, 2026 – 10:30 am

That’s a good thing, right? Oh, wait, this is Politico, part of the unhinged, TDS Credentialed Media
Trump vows to keep attacking Iran. But he’s running out of targets to hit.
The Pentagon is running out of strategically important targets to hit in Iran, even as President Donald Trump insists the U.S. will keep pummeling Tehran for up to three weeks.
The new timeline — which Trump announced Wednesday in an address to the nation — leaves few options for conducting the kind of air strikes necessary to eliminate the hidden ballistic missile stockpiles he seeks to destroy, according to two current defense officials and a former Trump administration official. The challenges are heightened by Iran’s stranglehold on the Strait of Hormuz and the reality that the regime is fighting a different kind of war, less one of tactics than economics.
These dynamics, the three officials warned, could hand Iran enough leverage that it refuses to negotiate over its nuclear program, the security situation in the Middle East or the reopening of choke points — a spiraling cycle with no clear end.
“We can just keep working through a list of targets of ever decreasing significance and continue to piss them off to the point that the [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps] has a solid lock on the government and they feel justified in waging a holy war against the U.S. in perpetuity,” one of the defense officials said. “In no circumstance can Trump just walk away. He’ll be humiliated if he leaves; and we’ll be in a quagmire if he stays.”
Got that? Three anonymous for which we have no idea what they actually do, what their positions are/were, say that having fewer targets is a Bad Thing. It’s almost like they and Politico are rooting for Iran. Meh, we know they are rooting for Iran, because of TDS.
The problem is there are few military sites accessible now without a ground invasion, said the former Trump official, who like others interviewed, was granted anonymity to discuss highly sensitive war planning. Tehran’s remaining ballistic missile stockpiles “are getting harder and harder to hit, because the ones that remain are likely in hardened bunkers,” the person said. “Otherwise they would’ve been taken out already.”
They want there to be a quagmire, with the US putting boots on the ground so they can demonize Trump. No mention of the crap that Iran has been pulling for 47 years, no mention of the terrorism, the killing of US citizens, the way Iran treats women, LGBT, or any others. Imagine the tone had a President Biden or Harris do this. Not that they would, they would just give Iran money and sanctions relief.
No worries, things keep going boom

JUST IN - Trump: "The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down."

    12:50 PM · Apr 2, 2026 Video

Of course, the TDSers say this killed a bunch of civilians, because Iran’s state media said it, but, the bridge was used exclusively by the IRCG.
(Jerusalem Post) The IDF said Thursday it eliminated Makram Atimi, commander of a central Iranian ballistic missile unit, in a precise airstrike in the Kermanshah area.
The military said Atimi was responsible for dozens of missile launches toward Israel.
In a separate strike, the military said it also killed several battalion commanders from the same unit, which it said was behind repeated launches from northwestern Iran. (snip)
Earlier, the IDF said it struck and killed Jamshid Eshaqi, the commander of the Iranian Armed Forces’ Oil Headquarters.
“Eshaqi led the financial arm of the regime’s forces as well as the military industries responsible for the production of ballistic missiles and the regime’s mechanisms of repression,” the IDF stated. “In addition, Eshaqi worked to allocate funds for financing Iran’s terror proxies across the Middle East, most notably the Hezbollah terror organization and the Houthis.”
    As for Hezbollah
Hezbollah Radwan Force terrorists captured last week by the IDF’s Givati Brigade revealed that their organization is facing a sharp decline in morale, and operatives feel that “Hezbollah is sending us to die…to avenge Ali Khamenei.”
In an interrogation session with the IDF’s Unit 504, one of the operatives explained that “morale is on the floor. No one has the strength to go out and fight.”
Maybe they should, I don’t know, stop? Stop being wackjobs, find a nice girl, settle down, have some kids, and enjoy life? Stop attacking Israel and Jews? Israel would then leave them alone.
