More IRS abuses: Two top IRS executives commute to their daily job by plane, according to a new report by the Treasury Department.
The report indicates these executives work in Washington, D.C., but live in other parts of the country and routinely fly to work. In fact, in both 2011 and 2012, twelve top IRS executive spent more than 200 days traveling – almost more than the number of business days in the calendar year. How’d they do that? By traveling over two days and officially remaining in “travel status.”

National Review Online is reportingone of the “frequent travelers” is none other than Beth Tucker, a deputy commissioner and the same person who was grilled at a House Oversight Committee hearing about her knowledge of the IRS’s targeting of Tea-Party groups.
Tucker’s official residence is in Texas but works out of the Washington, D.C., office.
The American taxpayer foots the bill for this excessive travel. According to the Treasury’s report, in 2011 and 2012, frequent travel cost taxpayers over $1 million per year.
