    I recently attended a speech by Representative Debbie Riddle (R-Tomball,Tx.) to listen to her describe a bill that would give more leeway to the ability of law enforcement to question immigration status on the heels of Arizona’s new enforcement measure 1070. I asked her what citizens can do to bypass a governor who has no intention of signing such a bill and her response was to recall a bill dealing with child abuse and the “outcryâ€

    The illegal trade is the slave trade with more comforts such as food stamps,etc. Businesses want cheap obedient labor with we the taxpayer subsidizing their workers , if all illegal folks were made legal business would simply contract with Mexico to send more "undocumented".

    To stop it all there must be a complete effort across the board shutdown border totally (It can be done), make it a crime to hire illegal workers with jail time and fine, within a few months it will stop the problem.


    Amnesty is coming and in the end it will only increase the numbers who
    come illegal.
    I'm old with many opinions few solutions.
