Any Child Under 18 Eligible

HOUSTON -- Even though the last day of school in the Houston School District was Thursday, students will still be able to get free meals, KPRC Local 2 reported.

Beginning June 4, any child under 18 years old can go to any HISD school and receive a free breakfast and free lunch, thanks to a summer food program.

Students do not have to attend summer school or be an HISD student to receive the free meals.

Call 211 to find out where the meals will be served.

Approximately 25 percent of children in Harris County are living below the poverty line.

The HISD is now proud of the fact that the ILLEGALS and their ANCHORS are taking from United States Citizens. A couple of years ago on a daily basis I watched families of ILLEGALS bring their little ILLEGALS and/or ANCHORS to school and they would all troop into the school for "their" free meal, the "student" would stay at school and the "rest" would scurry out to their cars hauling cartons milk and juice and food wrapped in napkins!
