    East Middle School Interpreter Accused of Kissing Student

    BISCOE, N.C. - A staff member at East Middle School in Biscoe is facing charges after Montgomery County Sheriff Jeff Jordan says he kissed a 14-year-old student.

    Sheriff Jordan says his office has taken out a warrant for Louis Ruiz, 20, a part time interpreter at East Middle School in Biscoe.

    Investigators say a student caught Ruiz kissing a 14-year-old girl in his office. Ruiz has been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

    Sheriff Jordan says the Montgomery County School System has already fired Ruiz. He had not been arrested as of Thursday evening.
