Unarmed Man Being Shot in the Back and Killed By Long Beach Police - Video
Unarmed Man Being Shot in the Back and Killed By Long Beach Police [video]
By admin · May 1, 2014
Long Beach police were pursuing a man fleeing from a Target Store security guard for “a crime allegedly committed at the store,” the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said late Sunday.
When deputies arrived to help security officers locked in a struggle with the man, he pulled out a large pair of scissors, according to a department statement.
The man then fled to his vehicle and led the police on a chase which ended at the 1800 block of East Ocean Boulevard.
The department claimed that he was refusing commands to exit his vehicle and allegedly got out of his car with a “large wooden stick.”
When the man began to flea police they initially fired a stun bag at him, which showed to have no effect.

At this point the Long Beach Police claim to have “encountered the man” and shot him. However the video shows no such encounter. The man is completely isolated and it appears that he was shot in cold blood, in the back.
The following video was published to youtube after these claims by the LBP have been made.

What do you think? Was someone in imminent danger that justified the firing of actual bullets at an unarmed man?
Did this man deserve to die for fleeing from police? Why are all these ‘public servants’ assuming the role of judge jury and executioner, and nothing is happening to them?
Due process is dying a slow and ugly death in this country, one cold blooded, state sanctioned murder at a time.

Cops Admit They Got The Wrong Guy; Discuss Framing Him, Then Arrest Him For No Reason
By Steve Straub On May 1, 2014 · 203 Comments · In US, Video
While we are big supporters of law enforcement, abuse needs to be called out every time!
Via The Daily Caller:
A Delaware man has prevailed in his lawsuit against Seaford police, who confused him for a suspect, tasered him, admitted they had the wrong person, discussed planting drugs in his car–and ultimately, arrested him anyway.
Reginald Johnson’s nightmare began the night of his birthday in 2011. He was pulled over by several police officers and instructed to get out of his car. Johnson was too slow for the officers, however, who tasered him and dragged him out within 15 seconds of giving the command. He was tossed onto the road and roughly handcuffed, according to The News Journal.
The officers had confused Johnson for someone else, and realized they had the wrong man after inspecting his driver’s license. (RELATED: Update: Sheriff Fires Cop Who Choked Student)
The incident was captured on a police dashcam.
One officer can be heard to say: “Dude, we got the wrong guy.”
Johnson was hauled into the back of a police car, protesting all the while that he had done nothing wrong.
One officer jokingly suggested planting drugs in Johnson’s car.
“Someone drop the dope in here,” said an officer.
Nobody followed through on this suggestion. The officers did arrest Johnson for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest, however
Watch the video:
The victim just settled his civil lawsuit charging excessive force against the city of Seaford and a city police officer for $270,000. Thank goodness for dashcam videos!
Do you think all encounters with police should be recorded for the safety of everyone involved?
