US State Department Orders 160,000 Ebola Hazmat Suits?

In a move that is creating concerns about Ebola going air-borne, the US State Department just ordered 160,000 Ebola Hazmat Suits.

The very company that makes them, Lakeland Industries, announced that the US State Department has now ordered the Hazmat Suits equipped to handle airborne Ebola. This move has many upset, much like when the government bought 2 billion rounds of ammunition.

This has caused conspiracy sites like BIN to announce that Ebola is now airborne. However, sites like BIN and Infowars are sometimes correct in their assessments.

The government purchase by the US State Department was announced by the company directly. The announcement included the detail that it has been ordered to handle a new mutation of the Ebola virus.

Forbes announced a few days ago that Ebola had mutated. The new strain is acting in the direct manner of what one would consider an airborne virus.

When a viral infection becomes “airborne,” like ordinary influenza, it means that discharged microbes remain suspended in the air for long periods of time. Generally speaking, this is what is meant by “airborne transmission.” In this case, the organisms must be capable of surviving for long periods of time outside the body and must be resistant to drying. Airborne transmission allows organisms to enter the upper and lower respiratory tracts. This sort of transmission is sometimes also referred to as “droplet contact” or “viral droplet nuclei transmission.”

The new strain is doing exactly that..

CNN is announcing the new behavior of the mutation makes it possible for a nightmare to happen.

The World Health Organization is warning what will happen with Ebola if their plan is not followed.
“The [estimate of 20,000] assumes full international backing for an intervention to control the deadly outbreak,” econometrics research assistant Francis Smart told WND.com.

“Failure to support the WHO’s plan presumably would cause the disease to spread in a similar manner as it already has,” Smart said. ~Fox
In fact, WHO is saying it might take six months to contain the disease that has been found in over 20,000 cases in Africa.
But this is Africa being effected, right?

Not necessarily the case. We have had outbreaks in the United States and individuals flown in for treatment. A couple of days ago, President Obama ordered an Army mobile hospital set up near the major outbreak to include Hazmat suits. The CDC seems to be issuing some warnings. It really looks like the new strain could be going airborne.

But 160,000 suits?

Let us hope this time it is in preparation for a potential major catastrophe instead of something they know and just are not willing to tell the public.
