EL PASO - More than 30 rounds were fired in a fierce street shootout that left four men dead Wednesday in Juárez, Chihuahua state police said.
At about 3:20 p.m., men in a Jeep Cherokee were chasing and shooting at men in a Ford F150 when they caught up to the pickup in colonia Industrial, police said.

Two men got out of the truck. One was shot dead on Puerto Marquez street.

The second man, identified as Raul Alberto Lozoya, 18, was wounded from a distance but managed to take refuge in a S-mart supermarket. He was hospitalized in Juárez.

Nearby, police found the Jeep Cherokee with a dead man in the passenger seat.

Another man died while being treated by paramedics. He had seven gunshot wounds - four to the torso, two the abdomen and one in the genitals, police said.

Police said a fourth man who had around 10 gunshot wounds and was believed to have been involved in the incident died at the Santa Maria clinic. None of the dead men had been positively identified.
