Video: Camerawoman filmed kicking migrants now facing charges

The Hungarian woman filmed allegedly tripping and kicking migrants as they fled police is now facing charges over the incident.

Petra Laszlo rose to notoriety in September when the footage emerged of the incident, filmed near the town of Roszke in Hungary near the border with Serbia.

In the footage, Laszlo, dressed in blue jeans and a blue shirt, can be seen apparent'y kicking a number of people while filming and also appearing to trip a father who is carrying his daughter to safety.

She has been charged with a breach of the peace, a spokesperson from the Public Prosecutors Office in Szeged told media.

"The violent actions of the accused did not inflict injury, however her behaviour was capable of provoking indignation and outcry in the members of the public present at the scenes."
