Thread: WASHINGTON PLOTTING " VAT TAX 25% "

Hi EVeryone..

I read this week an article in the Washington Post how their having secret meetings in Washington about adding a " Value Added Tax better known as " VAT " 25% on everything to pay for the National Health Care Obama wants , one politician's eyes lit up when it was stated that this would bring in Trillions of dollars$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
What is your thought ? How can the American public pay more taxes ?
Unless they get rid of the tax system..

I have not read that much on the VAT tax. But it is my understanding that it would be in place of income tax. It would be like a huge sales tax, but we pay huge tax anyway because by the time they tax us here there and everywhere it adds up to that anyway.
