Abortion Clinic in Oregon Caught Selling Body Parts From Aborted Babies

The sales of aborted babies and their body parts for research is not limited to the Planned Parenthood abortion business. In Oregon, a pro-life organization has confirmed to LifeNews.com that an abortion business based in its state is selling aborted baby body parts to one of the same middlemen Planned Parenthood uses.

“Oregon Right to Life has now confirmed that that Lovejoy Surgicenter in Portland retrieves fetal parts from abortions and sends them to Advanced Bioscience Research (ABR) in California,” the organization told LifeNews today.

ORTL points to one of the Center for Medical Progress videos about Planned Parenthood and indicates that Perrin Larton, procurement manager for ABR, mentioned they had abortion businesses in Oregon sending them fetal parts.

“It is clear that Lovejoy is one of those businesses,” the pro-life group said.

According to the pro-life group, volunteers in the newest 40 Days for Life prayer campaign were helping women outside the Lovejoy Surgicenter abortion facility in Portland when a woman handed them an envelope. Inside was some of the material she had received from the business, including a flier from ABR saying that Lovejoy was partnered with them to provide ABR with body parts form aborted babies.

“These companies can try to dress up abortion, saying that women are ‘saving lives’ by donating their babies’ bodies to science. The truth is that their babies are being brutally killed and their little bodies are then shipped to labs to be dissected by researchers,” Oregon Right to Life director Gayle Atteberry said. “That this may help science in some way is a cold comfort for a woman who realizes she has allowed her baby to be killed inside her body. Pregnancy is temporary but death is permanent.”

The woman who gave the materials to the volunteers told them she was receiving a late-term abortion—a two-day procedure. According to her description, her baby was at least 20 weeks. The CMP videos documented particularly barbaric abortions of older babies in order to garner the most usable parts.

Some abortion advocates have defended the practices saying Planned Parenthood and other abortion businesses are not violating federal law by making a profit. While the woman having the abortion technically donates her baby, ABR charges research facilities $340 for “2nd trimester specimens (18-24 weeks).”

Oregon Right to Life said: “The CMP videos make it clear that abortion businesses receive kickbacks from these fetal tissue procurement companies. How much Lovejoy receives for each specimen is unknown.”


Earlier this month, Oregon Democrats called off an investigation of aborted baby sales.

I hope these Pro-Life organizations are well-funded because they're going to be sued big-time, and rightly so. The Oregon Pro-Life group better turn their channel to CNN and look for the video of Chris Cuomo tearing David Daleiden to pieces this morning and obtaining a full confession on live television that the videos he used claiming to show an aborted fetus is not actually an aborted fetus but a still born miscarriage which has absolutely nothing to do with Planned Parenthood, body parts, fetal tissue sales or anything other than the sad tragedy of a miscarriage and a premature still born that could not be saved.

I feel certain that they know what the potential liability is before they go public.
