First, here’s a flashback to the most incompetent Press Secretary – Josh Earnest – in the history of the world commenting on why we don’t need an Ebola Czar just a week or so ago.



The Obama administration will certainly have a unique place in history. The President himself has rehabilitated Jimmy Carter, who was previously the worst President in history. Josh Earnest has rehabilitated Baghdad Bob.
Now then, with that as a reference point, we now have an Ebola Czar. You’d likely expect that person to have some expertise in communicable diseases and probably lots of expertise in the US healthcare system because there’s going to have to be a lot of working with both doctors and hospital administrators to coordinate a plan to contain the disease.
You’d be wrong. Very wrong.



Got that? Ron Klain. A P.R. guy. A Washington “fixer.” The guy who made sure the Obama campaign fund bundler got his loan guarantees for Solyndra. A guy who’s knowledge of Ebola, medicine, hospitals, and doctors is probably on part with ours. And, just to be clear, we’re not qualified to be the Ebola Czar either. We are qualified to downsize government, but that’s another story for another day.
Here’s a snapshot of the guy Obama just appointed, with his MightyPen, to protect you from Ebola.

According to The Washington Post, Klain was one of the “key players” in the scandal while he worked for Vice President Joe Biden: “Ron Klain, then Biden’s chief of staff, dismissed auditor’s concerns about Solyndra’s solvency, reasoning that all innovative companies come with risk.”

He saw no problems with Solyndra and was willing to convince all comers that the auditor was wrong. By-the-way, Klain doesn’t know anything about auditing or accounting either. And as long as we’re on the “A” words he’s ignorant of, how about “accountability,” because in the real world anybody who’d pulled what he did with Solyndra would, at best, never work again. At worst, and more likely, he’d be in prison.
But he’s now The Man, at least according to somebody else that is ignorant about accountability, President Obama and he’s on the job, and following in the President’s footsteps. You’re thinking that he’s reporting directly to the President or maybe the Surgeon General, or the head of the CDC, right? Again, you’d be wrong.

Speaking from the White House Friday afternoon, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said new Ebola Czar Ron Klain will report to former U.N. ambassador and current National Security Advisor Susan Rice.
“Mr. Klain will ultimately however report to Ms. Monoco [Homeland Security] and to National Security Advisor Susan Rice in this effort,” Earnest said.
As a reminder, Susan Rice is the woman who went on five Sunday talk shows to lie about a YouTube video being responsible for the 9/11 attack in Benghazi. She is also the same person who said alleged Army deserter and Taliban sympathizer Bowe Bergdahl served with honor and distinction.

This administration is a Clown Car.

And, speaking of following in the President’s footsteps, you remember how President Obama never bothers to attend his National Security Briefs? Aside from the fact that he might be thinking they’re some kind of weird underwear like Mitt Romney wears, he obviously has better things to do, like play golf, after all, he’s been to the golf course more times than he’s attended those silly briefings, our new Ebola Czar is right there with him.

Ron Klain, the newly-appointed “Ebola Czar” for Barack Obama’s administration, did not attend a White House meeting Friday discussing the federal response to the domestic threat of the deadly Ebola virus.
An email blast from the White House listing the meeting’s participants did not include Klain, who was given the position earlier in the day.

President Obama wasn’t there either.
Bottom line, your life is now being protected by a public relations fixer who reports to a serial liar and can’t make time to attend the kickoff meeting discussing what the response of our federal government should be to Ebola.

Charles Krauthammer speaks out on the Ebola crisis and the recent appointment of an Ebola czar by Hussein Obama, a move which has garnered a less than enthusiastic response from Krauthammer.
He’s characterizes the U.S. Health services’ response to Ebola as being in keeping with their history of being “slow to respond and always behind.” He points out the apparent softening of their position on a travel ban, now saying a ban is not off the table. He says “It will be done; it’s only a question of time.”
Krauthammer points to the ineptitude of the CDC in their declarations that they can track contacts, remarking that tracking contacts is of little value unless you take effective measures in response. He doesn’t believe that instructing people to self-monitor and self-quarantine is the proper method to control a situation of this magnitude.
He says, “Ordinary people have no idea what that means. You have to have the government step in and in this instance he believes it is appropriate to mandate quarantines.
Krauthammer agrees with Van Susteren, that if we had had a travel ban and if real controls had been in place, we could have prevented this outbreak.
Greta turns the conversation to the czar, voicing her opposition but asking for Dr. Krauthammer’s opinion. He sees it as a farce and a purely political maneuver. He references an official quoted in the New York Times as saying that the appointment of longtime Democrat political hack Ron Klain was based upon his messaging capabilities.

Krauthammer says, “This isn’t a messaging issue. This is an epidemic issue this is a medical issue. I don’t think he’s going to do any good one way or the other, I don’t think he’s going to do any harm. But it is the way the administration responds. It thinks that its failures on all fronts is a matter of messaging, public relations rather than the substance.”
He adds, “You want to calm the public? Show that you have a handle on the epidemic , that you know how to quarantine people, that you’ll impose a ban on travel if you have to and, one thing I don’t understand is why do they wait a day or two to release the name of a victim?”
Krauthammer reasons that, “If you want people to be aware of any contact, the fastest way to make them aware is release the name. But of course for reasons of privacy we don’t. That is completely misplaced, we have to get out of those habits and understand we’ve got a serious issue here.”

President Obama has asked Democratic operative Ron Klain to be the “Ebola Czar” and coordinate the federal government’s response to the deadly virus, sources close to the President have told CNN.
Having previously rejected the idea of an “Ebola Czar,” Obama relented on Thursday, CNNreports.

“It may make sense for us to have one person … so that after this initial surge of activity, we can have a more regular process just to make sure that we’re crossing all the T’s and dotting all the I’s going forward,” Obama said.

Klain served as Chief of Staff to Vice Presidents Gore and Biden, and spearheaded Gore’s recount efforts in the 2000 presidential election. Having left the Vice President’s office in 2011, he has since become the president of Case Holdings, the holding company for AOL co-founder Steve Case, NBC News reports.
Our new Ebola Czar does not, however, have any medical experience, as CNN reports.
That has not dissuaded Washington Democrats, who applaud Obama’s pick as an excellent choice to “control the message,” especially in advance of the midterm elections, New York Times reports.

“He’ll control the message better than most people would, which is really important from an economic standpoint, from a health standpoint, but it’s also important from a political perspective,” one official said, speaking on the condition of anonymity because no formal announcement had been made.

Klain will be reporting to national security adviser Susan Rice and Obama’s homeland security adviser Lisa Monaco.

Woman on DC Tour Bus Vomits, Then Tells Officials She Just Returned From Africa

A woman who recently traveled to Africa became ill and vomited on a Washington, D.C., tour bus this morning.
The bus was in the Pentagon parking lot when authorities were called, CBS-DC reports. A portion of the parking lot was closed “out of an abundance of caution,” Pentagon spokeswoman Lt. Col. Valerie Henderson said. The woman was taken to a Northern Virginia hospital for observation as a possible Ebola case.

However, this wasn’t an ordinary tour bus, according to FOX5:

Passengers aboard a chartered bus carrying members of the military and others related to them tell FOX 5 a woman they didn’t know boarded the bus, went to the back and went in the bathroom. That woman was apparently vomiting, and told authorities she recently traveled to Africa.

The Fairfax County Health Department is providing updates to the public via Twitter.

The bus continued on to Capitol Hill after the woman was taken to the hospital, but it was later stopped and evacuated.

Two of those passengers told FOX 5 there were 22 people aboard in all, and all of them had been cleared and told to follow up with their individual doctors. The health department has not confirmed this information.

The Fairfax County Health Department is expected to hold a press conference this afternoon to provide updates.
