The performance of the FBI and DOJ during the 2016 elections and since shows US all we need to see to know that the FBI and DOJ should never be involved in any investigation of any candidate or campaign unless there is a formal criminal complaint filed by a victim of an actual crime. We don't want the FBI tapping phones, eavesdropping on conversations, hacking into emails or computers, planting spies, staging meetings and gatherings with informants, or otherwise bothering hapless unsuspecting campaign workers. We just don't want that. We don't want our government involved in our campaigns. Campaigns are the ultimate free speech First Amendment Right. What the people who worked on the Trump Campaign have been put through by this rotten FBI and DOJ is unspeakable.
