What are you saying to Congress about bailout

I am sending e-mail demanding that any Member of Congress who accepted campaign contributions from the failed Corporations must remove themselves from negotiating and voting because they are compromised and unable to represent the Citizens. The two major problems were caused by Congress:
Housing legislation under Clinton and continued by Bush which pushed risky loans based on emotional feel good legislation.
The absolutely absurd practice of oversight by Members who are indebted to Corporation for campaign funds.
Congress has elevated Blame Game to a highly developed art form. I am playing their game. I am not as skilled as Congress but I am practicing hard.
So far I have them responsible for every thing that has gone wrong on the Planet for the last billion years. I suggested they owe an apologize for taking up space and breathing our air.
    Share what you are saying.

When Nancy Pelosi calls the Republicans unpatriotic for not coming to the table to accept their bailout she is calling every American who does not want this bill passed unpatriotic. She is slapping every taxpayer in the face. I feel that she and the Dems wanted a down and dirty fix with no scrutiny so that they could cover up the "culture of corruption" that has permeated their side with deals and legislation to shackle this country. They want it over quick so no more scrutiny goes and and more revealed.

    Howdy shelvapreston,

First be polite when you call, I realize this can be difficult at times and some staffers are rude but keep your composure and make your case.
Read the talking points below and reword them add to them or change them . When you are about to hang up even if it was with a hostile staffer make sure to say thank you.

    Talking Points

"I oppose this bailout and amnesty for Wall Street. Congress should not throw another tax dollar down the rabbit hole. Please stop the bailout and launch investigations instead to determine who is to blame and who can be prosecuted for creating this financial crisis."

"One Trillion dollars is outrageous and American taxpayers should not be forced to invest in bad business deals made by big campaign contributors."

"We, The People of the United States will no longer reward government and corporate failures with more power and money."

"America is broke and heavily in debt. We cannot afford bailouts for Wall Street fat cats. Where were our regulators and laws designed to protect us from another Great Depression when this was brewing?"

"My hard earned funds and taxes are not a private piggy bank for your big business friends."

"How dare Congress even consider giving the failed and deceitful Bush administration more money and power. This is unconstitutional!"

"This measure reeks of both socialism and fascism and shares characteristics in common with both. This move is certainly totalitarian and I'll be damned if you are going to turn my bank into an agent of the government."

I'm glad the House republicans stod their ground. This bailout merits more in depth review and options. Let's not rush into giving $700 billion to the the businesses who caused this problem.

I'm telling them that there is absolutely ZERO Constitutional authority for the government to give billions of tax payer dollars to a private company like AIG. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were theoretically arguable since they are quasi-governmental entities (although I personally disagree with any bailout for them), but AIG is a totally private company. It is illegal for the federal government to use taxpayer dollars in this manner.

Injecting all these billions of dollars into the market will also go a long way in wiping out the life savings of hard working Americans via inflation. We are already seeing the effects of inflation at the pump.
