The Obama administration is at it again. They're running up the flagpole an incredibly misleading ObamaCare enrollment figure. Typically, they're hoping we're all stupid enough to salute. Well, don't. The latest inflated number, 6-milliion, is fraught with enough stuffers to fill every coal-laden Christmas stocking on Capitol Hill next December.
According to a McKinsey Group study released earlier this month, just 14% of ObamaCare signups through February appeared to be "previously uninusured enrollees".

Since White House bluster then had claimed 5-million, even allowing McKinsey an enormously generous plus/minus allowance for error, a reasonably adjusted number through February still would have been little more than 3-million signups. And that figure would have included a still undisclosed percentage of the nearly 5-million whose plans got cancelled due to the law itself. Padding the signup numbers with this demographic is about as honest as the city of Detroit remedying it's decades-long population decline by kidnapping a couple million residents from New York City.
Another qualifier affecting enrollment is the number of enrollees legitimately "insured", those who've paid their premiums, and a statistic Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius denies knowing. So then, how many have really enrolled in ObamaCare? HHS claims 6-million. I say 4.8-million. And that's being generous.
