White House Keeps Up War on Fox News

White House Keeps Up War on Fox News

    Monday, 18 Jan 2010 08:27 PM
    By: David A. Patten

The White House communications director is lobbing new firebombs at Fox News, saying it is not "a traditional news organization" and won't be treated as equal to other news networks.

The remarks by Dan Pfeiffer, who recently replaced Anita Dunn as the White House communications director, indicate that the administration has no plans to back off its strident anti-Fox News rhetoric.

Pfeiffer told The New York Times: "They have a point of view; that point of view pervades the entire network."

He added that the Obama administration has no intention of treating Fox News equally.

"We don't feel the obligation to treat them like we would treat a CNN, or an ABC, or an NBC, or a traditional news organization, but there are times when we believe it makes sense to communicate with them," Pfeiffer told the Times.

Pfeiffer confirmed that the confrontational approach favored by Dunn, who labeled Fox News a "wing of the Republican Party," will continue.

In response, a Fox News spokesperson told The Hill.com: "Obviously new to his position, Dan seems to be intent upon repeating the mistakes of his predecessor … and we all remember how well that turned out."

    Obama HATES Fox News

    Monday, 18 Jan 2010 08:51 PM

It's the summer of 2008 and Barack Obama is beginning to slip in the election polls.

He blames Fox News for his election worries.

He agrees to a secret meeting at New York's posh Waldorf Astoria hotel with the head of Fox News, Roger Ailes and other top honchos of their parent company News Corp.

The meeting goes into meltdown mode as a finger wagging Obama furiously vents his anger against Fox and their top conservative host Sean Hannity.
    Have you heard about this?

Probably not, but Newsmax magazine, in a just-released special report "Obama Hates Fox News," reveals how Obama's war on Fox News all began, how it unfolded, and even predicts what will happen in the future.
You need to get your copy of Newsmax's "Obama Hates Fox News."

Boycotting debates, kicking journalists off a campaign jet, planting questions from friendly media during presidential news conferences, freezing adversarial media out of interviews, singling out individual journalists to scold them publicly — they've all been part of Team Obama's efforts at manipulating and intimidating the media.

Newsmax magazine's special report "Obama Hates Fox News" takes an in-depth look at Obama's army of advisers, who seem to some critics part of an audacious end-run around congressional authority.

The new edition of Newsmax magazine is hitting newsstands across the country, including many Barnes & Noble bookstores and Hudson News airport newsstands.

IMHO I think the media will turn on Obama, for being such a whiny, clueless thug. Guess Obama never heard the of "Don't bite the hand that feeds you"? Keep it up Obama.

Actually my opinion... that's all bs... They all sleep together. WH gonna make this look like a wrestling match, like a struggle.. but believe me they all sleep together.

If you look at the way the GOP raped the tea party movement, once polls came in saying people were more likely to vote for a tea party candidate than a democrat or republican; then suddenly the lowest forms of life from the GOP; aka Arnold Swarzt(whatever the hell his incompetent name is)... Sarah Palin.... probably Lindsey Graham created the first ever tea party convention where those interested in saving the country have to spend $550. to get a seat.

Really guys... wake up... the republicans and the democrats are owned by the same thugs. You and I can never out spend the dreggs that feed their greed.

Until we get a viable third party, or ditch federeal government all together (my choice) ; we will never be safe.
