Why does our government want the US to go Socialistic?
I have been reading alot of these posts and have seen people make reference to the US becoming Socialistic or Communistic. Why in the world would our government officials want to allow this to happen? Someone educate me here. My dad has been saying the same thing, but cannot give me a rational reason for why.

Patriot2 welcome to the forum.
Why would our elected officials want the US to go socialistic or communistic? Here's what comes to mind for me --
The power that a few elitists would have under such a system. (taking power away from the ballot box and putting it into the hands of the super rich)
The redistribution of wealth (so that no individual can succeed on his or her own merits.)
The dependence for government handouts (instead of the
government depending on the people for any power it may have.) This is known as role reversal.
Globalism. (another piece of the elitists' manifesto)
Your dad sounds like a smart man, I suggest you listen to him and ask him many questions. He will only have your best interests in mind -- something that our politicians frequently don't.<div>Want some ICE with that cervesa?</div>
