I Can't make This Stuff Up! (Starbucks)

So I decided to visit a Starbucks on the way to the gym and I sat there for about 45 minutes.
A black guy walked in and stood in line. The only black person I saw in the whole place.
I set up my laptop and get in line to order the Peach Citrus White Tea (pictured).

The barista looked past the black guy and straight to me and asked me what I would like.
I thought a joke was being played and I frowned.
The black guy in front of me looked back at me as I stood there frowning.

The barista never made eye contact with the black guy and looked down at the feet of the black man and
said, "Sorry, how can I help you?"

    WTH is going on??????

Boomslang, here is the contact information for Starbucks corporate offices. Ask for Howard Schultz, he is the CEO and went on the news apologizing for that first situation, where I believe the person was fired.

    Web
    http://www.starbucks.com
    Address
    2401 Utah Avenue South
    Seattle, WA
    98134

    Contact
    Howard Schultz
    Role
    Chairman and CEO
    Phone
    (206) 447-1575
    Fax
    (206) 682-7570
    Twitter IDs
    @Starbucks

Now, tell them why you are calling and you want to be put through to Mr. Schultz office to relay first-hand your personal witness to a blatant racist behavior that you observed at a Starbucks in your city. Do not accept a transfer to customer service, tell them if they don't put you through to Schultz's office, your next call is to Fox and Friends at Fox News. Good luck!!

It's these visa workers. They're racist against blacks, my nephew deals with them at another major chain, he's looking for another job, it's so bad. He reported it, and his manager reported it to regional. Waiting to hear what happens there.

You're so welcome, Boomslang. Thank you for sharing this awful experience and for reporting it to Schultz. Let me know how it goes. This is outrageous and it's widespread throughout the restaurant industry now because of all these foreign workers.

One persons quick perception of an incident isn't always the whole story. Just saying I wouldn't be so quick to make a judgement unless I was sure there wasn't something going on between the two that I wasn't aware of.

    True.
But I had time to boot my computer and set it up and then got in line and then get called on first.

I'll be the first to say that I love prompt service but...

Let also add that the black guy didn't display any negative emotion that I could tell.
He made his order, payed and left.
