WI-Two ACORN workers among five charged with election crimes
Two ACORN workers among five charged with election crimes

MADISON, WI
Two voter registration workers for the activist group ACORN are among five total ACORN Wisconsin workers charged with crimes stemming from the 2008 election.
A criminal complaint charges both Maria Miles and Kevin Clancy with falsely procuring voter registration as a party to the crime.
The complaint says Miles and Clancy submitted multiple voter registration applications for the very same individuals to meet voter registration quotas imposed by ACORN.
Neither could immediately be reached for comment, and it was unclear whether if they had lawyers.
The others facing charges include a convicted felon accused of illegally voting in the election, and a husband and wife accused of each voting twice.
Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced the charges the same day a front-page column in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel quoted a prosecutor criticizing police for ignoring voter fraud cases.

ACORN's motto probably is "vote early and vote often." And WHAT!? Mickey Mouse is not a qualified voter? Shocked on this end.
