Who cares if the Wicked Witch of the east is shredding our rights and freedoms?

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere over the Rainbow, lies are through
And bay mice that are funded die in a vat of glue.
Somewhere over the Rainbow, way up high,
There is black in a budget, not one just built on lies.

Someday I wish upon a man and wake up where the countries far behind me.
Where troubles build like green slime pops way above the warming tops
That’s where you’ll blind me.
Somewhere, over the rainbow, freedom still flies,
Some people still make money, why then oh why can’t I?

Our country is stuck on a stupid, endless refrain of Somewhere over the Rainbow as we dream and wish at the feet of our President. Who cares if the Wicked Witch of the east is shredding our rights and freedoms?

With vivid naiveté we disassemble our constitution and republic and pretend it is much needed progress and change. After all, our President and leadership tells us we have to absorb trillions more in mentally ill debt to save our economy. Now they are talking about “stimulus number 2.â€
