Wicked witch of the west wants AR-15 control. In this case the AR was stolen from one

Wicked witch of the west wants AR-15 control. In this case the AR was stolen from one of the people shot at the Navy yard. Maybe that should be a crime. Probably is.

Feinstein calls for new gun control laws again after Navy Yard shooting

    6:19 PM 09/16/2013

California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein is renewing her call for new gun-control laws because of Monday’s deadly Navy Yard shooting.

“When will enough be enough?” Feinstein said in a statement Monday evening.

“Congress must stop shirking its responsibility and resume a thoughtful debate on gun violence in this country,” she said. “We must do more to stop this endless loss of life.”

The FBI confirmed Monday afternoon that 34-year-old Aaron Alexis is the suspect in Monday’s massacre at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. Alexis died at the scene. Authorities are still looking for other potential gunmen in the rampage that has killed at least a dozen people.
“I mourn those killed today at the Navy Yard in Washington and send my thoughts and prayers to those families grieving the loss of loved ones,” Feinstein said.
“There are reports the killer was armed with an AR-15, a shotgun and a semiautomatic pistol when he stormed an American military installation in the nation’s capital and took at least 12 innocent lives,” she said.
Feinstein has long been an anti-gun rights activist. After last year’s Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, she unsuccessfully pushed to ban more than 150 types of firearms, including rifles, pistols and shotguns.
On Monday, she reiterated a call for new legislation in light of the Navy Yard shootings.

“This is one more event to add to the litany of massacres that occur when a deranged person or grievance killer is able to obtain multiple weapons — including a military-style assault rifle — and kill many people in a short amount of time,” Feinstein said.

California Democrat Senator Dianne Feinstein has exploited another mass shooting to call for destroying the Second Amendment and disarming law-abiding Americans.

    Occupy The Firing Range

    The Vultures of Gun Control

    from: http://occupythefiringrange.wordpres...f-gun-control/

As we all know, tragedy hit yesterday as a former sailor/DOD contractor named Aaron Alexis entered the Navy Yard in Washington, DC, and started shooting, killing 13 people and wounding many others. Before the brass was even cool, gun control advocates such as Senator Dianne Feinstein and Shannon Watts of the group “Moms Demand Action” were calling for gun control and throwing blame at gun rights groups and gun owners. Never let a crisis go to waste, right?

But lets look at the facts. Would more gun control have prevented this? Clearly the answer is no.

    - Aaron Alexis was a DOD contractor who held a security clearance. You could say he’d already had a stringent background check, so the idea that background checks would prevent him from buying a gun is ludicrous, at best.

-Alexis violated numerous gun control laws in one of the strictest gun control cities in the nation. In Washington, DC it is illegal to own a gun unless you are a resident with a permit. It is illegal for anyone to carry a personal firearm in the city. AR – 15s and magazines over 10 rounds, banned. Not to mention it’s illegal to carry a personal firearm on a military base.

These gun control laws that failed to prevent this are exactly what gun control advocates call for. Yet, they failed.

Furthermore, Alexis started off with a shotgun, then obtained a pistol or two from security as the shooting went on. How do you legislate that from happening?

Nobody is denying this is a tragedy and I weep for the victims and their families, but this idea that more gun control laws would prevent it is completely asinine, as I’ve clearly shown above.

Most sickening of all are the vultures of gun control that feed on the dead to fuel their anti-gun agenda, once again before the bodies were even cold. I find that sickening, shameful, disgusting and downright pathetic. Senator Feinstein and Shannon Watts should be ashamed of themselves, but they’re not.

Remember this behavior in the coming days, as these people push for legislation exactly like DC’s, and remember how despite the existence of such legislation, this tragic event still happened.

Let us remember that "Assault rifles"(an intentional mis-classification) only account for less than 3% of all firearm-related homicides in the US annually, and no shooting allegedly involving an AR-15 has taken a higher number of lives than the Virginia Tech shooting, which was perpetrated with 2 handguns.
