Is there any hope for Fred??

As the republican candidates slowly swagger out of sight the only one that is left to even remotely lead is Fred Thompson. I know there are issues with all of them but I think he is the only one that will run this country outright without a bunch of bs that all the others give.

It is depressing that we do not have any better or stronger candidates than we do with all that is going on in this world.

    Huckabee is a fraud.

I do not understand how Guiliani is even in the running for 'Republican'; he is an out right democrat. I truly feel alot of mid of the road dems are moving into republican races to over take us.

McCain is also a democrat in republican's clothing.

Is there any hope for Fred . . . or our country for that matter?

I certainly hope not as he is a member of the CFR. Yes, Huckabee is a fraud.

    That speaks volumes if true

Oh he wants the title of President he just doesn't want the duties that come with it nor does he want to do the work to get there.

I am counting on there being no hope for Fred. Rockfish is correct. The last thing we need in a president is any affiliation with the CFR.

USAnevada brings up a good point by stating that if Fred does drop out and supports mclamebrain mccain, this does speak volumes. And, the volumes it speaks are not good.

How can anyone who doesn't want to committ political suicide endorse mclamebrain?
This fact in itself should tell anyone who supported Fred that he wasn't that serious about illegal immigration.

Exactly, he'll let the CFR give him orders, as he hasn't the loyalty to do what a President should do. In effect, he would be an 'acting President'. Hey Fred, go play President somewhere else. If you can't keep up with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

Of course any CFR member, as a President, is not going to state that they 'take their orders from the CFR'. I believe you're acting a bit naive. Our govenment has been acting in the interests of the CFR rather than the American citizens for decades and you know this, Greg.

Poor Fred...I just heard the other day that the writers on Law and Order are going to attack his 'character' on the show by calling him (the 'character') LAZY! Ouch!!!
