A winner will be notified around May 9. For official rules, call 480-325-6789 or e-mail info@ azdoughnutfan.com.

The Buzz posted news of this contest on its blog, and plenty of readers wrote in that Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is the No. 1 Krispy Kreme fan.

We thought they were joking about police and doughnuts, but there is photographic proof.

The Buzz found a photo from 1999 showing Arpaio as the first customer served at the Arizona Mills store, now closed.

This gives us an idea.

Arpaio should enter the contest. Make a video. Get that lifetime supply of doughnuts.

Do you have any ideas for Arpaio's Krispy Kreme video?
