Population report:

A report from the U.S. Census Bureau said the world's 65-and-older population will triple by 2050. It said that in Latin America, youths 19 and younger outpace the 65-and-older group by more than 5-to-1. But by 2050, led by a drop-off in births in countries such as Mexico and Brazil, senior citizens will jump to 18 percent of the population, compared with 25 percent for youths.
