Torn between Obama and McCain
The last election was worth a pile of crap. Two lousy candidates: Obama who hates America and is trying to impose socialism on all, destroy our private health care system and individual choice, and is degrading our military. On the otherhand, you have McCain who supports Amnesty for illegals.
Frustrating to say the least.

To me their was no choice. Although McCain supported amnesty, we might have gotton around that as most Americans don't want it. In hind site, however, I think he would have been the best choice as he does love America. I don't think he would be going around apologizing for us. If I want to apologize to someone I will do it myself. I don't want someone apologizing for me without my permission. This president does not speak for me. I don;t think we would be doing as much damage as Hussein in the same way. I don't think in his heart of hearts he would willingly force this country into communisim.

I went with the lesser of the 2 evils and voted for McCain as I agree that at least he doesn't hate America and won't apologize.

While I fully understand and support your views I doubt seriously it was a good idea, while I do not agree with McCain's views he was the lessor of two evils had a slight larger number of people went out and voted for him(many remain home or voted "other" out of angry) we would not be in our current mess, sad to say unless the parties present good candidates and they have not done that in several elections the only choice is vote the lessor evil, while I would have preferred Ron Paul I voted McCain.I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

Perfectly understandable USAFV.
McCain is one of my (alleged) reps and I'm no big fan of his policies either.
But, I've got to tell you, he would've been one damned sight better as potus than obama.
At least, had McCain been elected, we would not see going on what we are now. He might be a lot of things but a traitor and guilty of high treason is not one of them. We would not be witnessing the installation of a fascist reigme under McCain.
I'm also not so certain we'd have seen him backing an amnesty either. He might have tried, but I also think that when push came to shove he would have honored the wishes of the American people.
Oh sure, he's a wily and seasoned politician who knows how to try to garner votes. And he's going to do that.......it's how elections are won. But remember, the pro-illegal advocacy turned on him. They made it very clear that they were no longer lending their support because they didn't trust him to do their bidding, that they felt that he was going to go along with what the majority of the American people want which is, of course, no amnesty, no benefits, etc.
When they turn on a candidate it's speaking volumes.
So while he would not have been my first choice, I'd much rather he be the one in the white house today.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

McCain, as what I could see was ready to give the country away, a heartbeat away from turning power over to ditz Sarah Palin. That scared me more than anything else.
McShame is a fake Republican and Palin's husband belonged to a group promoting Alaska seceding from the union. The thought of McShame and Palin running the government was enough to give me ulcers.
I voted for neither ticket, but he was the lesser of two evils, IMO.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Terrible choices and I still question the rigging of the Republican primary every one I know disliked Macshame as the Republican nominee.
We can't deport them all ? Just think of the fun we could have trying!

I would vote for Obama's dog before I would vote for him.
It doesn't matter who we voted for the election is over and if we don't get Obama impeached our country is done. The Rep. would have kept Mc Cain on track, it seems the Dem's are just as evil and self-serving as their lord and master.

If things continue to go the way they are under obama and his freak circus, he can go find someone else to "rule" because it won't be me or my family.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
